Big ’Eds
In 2011 I discovered Pro-Marker pens and started to draw some of the people I met at rock gigs. The pens soon took over from watercolour as my medium of choice.
Those early Big 'Eds were quick and easy drawings that I did as a little fun whilst doing some of my other portraits that took weeks to do, such as the Tessellation Portraits.
As time has gone on, I have improved the quality of the Big 'Eds and they are now an important part of my work.... They also take a lot longer to do now.
During the Covid lockdown in 2020 I started drawing Leeds United players as some of the Don Revie era players died. Since then I have drawn over 70 players from different eras.
